My Name is Karla McDonald. I have created this web site to pursue my interest in the goeological field of study as well as to provide a place for those seeking geological information.
I am currently enrolled in the second semester of a three-year program in Geology at Sir Sanford Fleming College. Last year I graduated high school with honors and received two scholarships for my academic skills. My most recent job experience was working at the Law Firm of Hacker, Gignac and Rice. I was responsible for the delivery of mail and taking care of a great deal of banking. Often time's certified checks worth hundreds of thousands of dollars were left in my care.
My academic experience has provided me with a solid background in the field of geology . I am knowledgeable when it comes to computers and their software. I am also a quick learner when it comes to learning new concepts and technologies. Furthermore, my work experience has provided me with a great sense of responsibility, maturity, and teamwork. As a delivery girl for a law firm, I learned the importance of organization and independence. As an employee at Harvey's serving Swiss Chalet, I learned a great deal about the service industry and dealing with the public, as well as performing multiple tasks efficiently and quickly.
I would just like to take this oppertunity to thank you for browsing through my site and remember to return often as i will update the links and galleries frequently. There will always be something new and exciting happening in geology! Thank you for your time.
Yours Truly
Karla McDonald
